Our Editing Program provides opportunity for hands on learning using industry standard software. After learning specific techniques, our students are encouraged to realize their individual visions to achieve stated goals.
During the 10-week course, participants will use raw footage to create original and varied finished products that showcase their skills.
At the completion of the Session, all students will have access to their final movie as an online download.
Showcase Night: Each session will host a Red Carpet screening. This fun event allows our students the opportunity to invite friends and family to celebrate their project on the Big Screen. This will be a 30-45min event and will include all programs product from the Session.
Learning Outcomes:
- Students will learn the industry standard software Premiere Pro in its basic form to edit their film.
- Students will learn how to organize files and export files properly to complete their film.
- Students will learn how to use sound and visual effects to add tone and energy to filmed clips.
- Students will learn problem solving skills using editing.
